Jason has a lot of letters that people use to describe him (well, they really describe his problems) – ASD is among them. It stands for autism spectrum disorder, and Jason’s autism gives him a different outlook on life.
Sometimes he can’t control what he does or feels like he can’t breathe. Sometimes, well a lot of the time, he can’t figure out what people expect from him. He has a hard time in school, but feels more accepted on the StoryBoard website that he posts stories on. He makes a friend on the site, but when they are both going to attend the StoryBoard conference, he gets worried. What will she think of him when they meet and she realizes that he’s not your typical kid?
