I am a big fan of funny books about girls like Ramona, Junie B., and Judy Moody, so I knew I had to read this book when it came out. Clementine is a spunky 8-year-old who is trying to do the right things, but somehow she finds herself in big messes. For example, when her best friend decides she needs a haircut right now, Clementine is there to help! Unfortunately, the new hairdo is not what she (or her mother) hoped for. You will be laughing through this book, and the good news is you can continue giggling with the sequels The Talented Clementine and Clementine’s Letter.
