Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live forever? Well, the Tuck family never wondered until they realized, forever was their only option. Young Winnie Foster stumbles across the “youngest” boy of the Tuck family and embarks on the journey of hearing their story and all the mishaps that it includes. With a spring of water that causes enternal life, a man in a yellow suit wanting to make trouble, and Mae, the mother of the house, ending up in jail, Tuck Everlasting is full of intriguing moments. The reader stops to ponder the thought of living forever and what that would mean for themselves and for others. Tuck Everlasting is a classic that kids will remember “forever” once they’ve read it. It is full of meaning, love, home, family, and laughter. It was the feel good book of my fifth grade year.
