After reading The Daring Book for Girls, I just had to read this book for the boys. This book is full of adventure, education, and everyday things that boys love to do. Readers can learn about the essential gear that boys need, the rules of soccer, and then turn another page to take a step back into history and read about famous battles. There are so many topics in this book that there is something in it for every boy. Even if a boy is just interested on how to land a girl, the advice is in here. Even as a girl I found this book to be interesting and I found myself wanting to try a few of the handy things. (e.g. paperplane making, treehouse building, and how to play poker.) If there is a boy you know that doesn’t enjoy reading, hand him this book and I believe that he will take a liking to it. By the end he won’t realize that reading is what he’s actually doing.
