Awful Ogre’s Awful Day

Awful Ogre is making an awful mess of things…and loving every minute of it! This large, one-eyed creature tells us all about his day in a series of poems. My favorite poem is his terrible dream: the sun is shining, birds are singing, and he is frolicking through the flowers. He wakes up in a panic but is so relieved to discover it was just an awful nightmare. Nothing could be scarier to an ogre than a day filled with loveliness and beauty! These poems are fun to read aloud. Awful Ogre Running Wild is another book of ogre poetry.
