And Serving Lunch!” She’s a wacky evil-fighting cafeteria lady, righting injustice in this graphic novel series. My favorite installment so far is Lunch Lady and the League of Librarians–because she takes on librarians who are plotting to take over the world! Lunch Lady has help from her sidekicks, the Breakfast Bunch, three kids who suspect something fishy is going on in the school library. The black, white and yellow illustrations are lots of fun. You may know also Krosoczka as the author of Punk Farm. Recommended for middle elementary grades and up.
