    We’re coming up on a time of the school year that can make a parent frantic–science project time! The children’s room has a good selection of science project books for all ages and interests, including this new book. Amazing Kitchen Chemistry Projects You Can Make Yourself walks kids through basic chemistry concepts with simple projects like making goop, edible treats, and causing chemical reactions. The project instructions are easy to follow, and only require a little adult supervision. Old favorites like growing salt crystals, and vinegar volcanoes are fun for every kid to discover for himself. A glossary of chemical terms and a bibliography of print and website resources are also included.
