This delightful new picture book is for anyone who has tried to fit in by changing who they really are. Crow worries that he doesn’t fit in with the beautiful, colorful birds in his neighborhood. So Crow tries to blend in by painting his dark feathers with bright colors. This scares the very friends he was trying to win over. Crow finds that being himself is the best way to make friends after all. The colorful acrylic illustrations really pop out against the plain white background. Timmers is a Belgian author/illustrator who also wrote Happy with Me and Who Is Driving.
