Fredle the house mouse was always a bit of an adventurer. He was always asking too many questions and getting into trouble with his friend, Axle. One night Fredle and Axle discover chocolate and get really sick. In the mouse world, any mouse who is sick gets pushed out of the nest to protect the family from illness. Fredle gets lucky, however. Instead of the cat finding him, the mother of the house finds him and takes him outside.

Fredle is clueless to the ways of outdoor mice. Where do you find food? What are raccoons? Where is a good place for a nest? His most important question, though, is “How do you get back inside?” Join Fredle as his adventures take him far from home and back again.
