Written and illustrated in the same style as Rapunzel’s Revenge, this second graphic novel by the Hale team follows Jack’s story, giving readers Jack’s history from before he met Rapunzel and following the pair after the events of the first graphic novel.
Jack’s luck has never been as good as his schemes, so when he accidentally kills one of big business giant Blunderboar’s giants he knows he needs to head west. Unfortunately, he has to leave his mother behind. However, meeting up with Rapunzel seems to have changed his luck, so Jack heads home to find his mother and make good. This clever tale of just how and why Jack becomes a Giant Killer is a treat for those new to the series as well as anyone who has read Rapunzel’s Revenge.
