From the adapter and illustrator of The Babysitters Club graphic novels, comes an autobiographical coming of age tale. After Raina has her front teeth knocked out, all the normal teenage self-doubts about her looks, boys, and who she wants to be are amplified. It doesn’t help that her friends tease a little too hard, a little too often. This funny, heart-warming tale, which follows Raina from 6th grade to 10th grade portraying both triumphs and failures, is wonderfully illustrated and deftly told. Readers of all ages will find it appealing, while tweens will be able to relate.
