When Elizabeth’s history teacher recommends her for a job at the New York Circulating Material Repository, she assumes she’ll be working with books. Soon, she discovers the things she’ll be taking care of are more likely to be dishes, gadgets, and clothing. Best of all, some of them are magic. In fact, they are the stuff of fairytales from the Grimm Collection. However, some of them have gone missing, and stranger still, some of them seem to be losing their magic. Like Elizabeth, readers will quickly find themselves caught up in the mystery, as Elizabeth wonders who to trust and how to find the thieves without breaking the rules or betraying the people who trust her. This mix of fantasy, mystery, and reality will be a hit with fairytale aficionados.
