This fun book will take you through the seasons of the year through the eyes of a boy. Better yet, it will do it through Haiku (a poem that begins and ends with a line of 5 syllables and has one line of 7 in between)! Distracted and in awe of all the things the season might bring, the boys in this book will let us in on some of their inner-most thoughts. For instance (in Spring):

    If this puddle could
talk, I think it would tell me
    to splash my sister.

    or in Fall:

    Hey, who turned off all
    the crickets? I’m not ready
    for summer to end.

This is a truly delightful book that captures the essence of outdoor exploration and the wonder of childhood adventure. The accompanying pictures are a wonderful addition that will only help to illustrate all the fun each season will bring!
