The pressure of discovering who her future husband is no big deal because the society will only match her with her true and honest soul mate, right? After the reveal of her match, although initially elated to discover it is her best friend, becomes unsure when the face of another boy appears momentarily when she is reviewing her match microchip card. Through a series of uncovered secrets, threats, and lies, Cassia begins to do something she has never done before…question. Ally Condie has cleverly combined a unique love story with real life questions and concerns of teens in an unsettling dystopian society. Readers will eagerly look forward to the Fall release of the second in this trilogy, Crossed.
