    Told by George Shannon
Eighteen stories are presented in this book. Each story tells the truth, but leaves out an important fact. Without this fact, the story makes no sense. These stories are often called “Stories with holes.” Can you figure out the missing information?

Here’s an example: the first story is the tale of a man sentenced to jail for picking up a rope on the ground. Why would he be sent to jail for that? Because the rope was attached to a cow that he was stealing!
