With simple experiments that can be performed using household materials, these titles offer parents a fun way to introduce their children to science. A mix of photographs and illustrations make the experiments easy to set up and follow. While a child who has a great interest in a particular topic might want to do all the activities, the books are easy to dip into if parents are hoping to find an experiment to help address a specific topic, such as how muscles help create facial expressions, page 11 of My Body.
