Snow Play: how to make forts & slides & winter campfires plus the coolest Loch Ness monster and 23 other brrrilliant projects in the snow is written by international designer Birgitta Ralston. Ralston has designed amazing snow creations that your family will have a great time constructing. Some projects are basic, and only take an hour or so to make. Others, like the snow birthday cake, take a few hours to create. I especially loved the snow ghosts with lighted eyes that make me wish for snow on this Halloween. There are functional projects like snow slides and caves, and decorative projects like ice wreaths with evergreen boughs and fruits. The Loch Ness Monster takes some time, but it’s so cool! Each project has step-by step instructions with beautiful photos of the finished project.
Snow Play is shelved in the adult non-fiction section on MPL’s second floor, but it’s written with family fun in mind.
