The Robe of Skulls

Evil sorceress Lady Lamorna decides she needs a new magical gown (a robe of skulls and webs) and employs the Ancient Crowns to make it. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have enough gold to pay for it so she comes up with a new scheme, with the help of her troll Gubble, to trick the local Kings and Queens out of some treasure. Could a reluctant prince, a mistreated step child and two little bats put a kink in her plans? You bet, and the Ancient Crones might have a little something to do with it, too.

This is the first in the series “Tales from the Five Kingdoms.” Fantasy lovers will eat up this quick-paced plot and be ready to check out the other titles:
The Bag of Bones, The Heart of Glass, and The Flight of Dragons (which just came out this summer).
