Trick or Threat & Other Stories: Volume 2 of Leave It to Chance Monster Madness & Other Stories: Volume 3 of Leave It to Chance

These exciting graphic novels seem to have it all: vivid, full-color illustrations and a fun, oversized format, as well as a strong female protagonist, grand adventures, magic, and even a loving, if overprotective, father.Chance Falconer has a nose for trouble and a stubborn bravery that keeps her from backing down or giving up.But, she’s also smart and knows how to make loyal friends. All these attributes serve her well in her thrilling escapades.

Trick or Threat: Volume 2 finds Chance safely in a crowd at the Devil’s Echo annual Halloween parade, but an encounter with a distraught child puts her on the trail of a local crime boss.In an attempt to keep her safe, Chance’s father, Lucas Falconer, sends her to a boarding. But it’s never that easy to remove Chance from the action.Soon, danger finds her (or should I say she finds danger) at school.

In Monster Madness: Volume 3, when a monster movie at the local cinema comes to life, Chance’s father is called in to solve the problem. As the most prominent super-natural detective in the city of Devil’s Echo and the latest in a long line of magic fighting Falconers, Lucas often battles monster, he regularly forbids Chance to get involved. However, Chance doesn’t let get in her way.
