We have a fun new book in the non-fiction section all about animal mouths! Each page has a picture of an animal with its mouth open wide and a rhyme giving scientific information about what that animal is actually doing.

For example, the poem about sparrow mouths is called
    “Feed Me!”

    Baby birds have special mouths
    Which open very wide
So when the parents bring food
They can drop a lot inside

    The mouth is brightly colored
    So the parents cannot miss
When you sit down for dinner
    Please don’t cheep like this!

A companion book, called Step Inside!, looks at animal homes.
