Every tale in this graphic novel anthology contains a mystery box, but that is where plot similarities end.  For the mysteries the boxes hold are each unique.  Some creepy, some comic, all clever, these stories are not just good fun but also a good introduction to the individual authors and illustrators, including Dave Roman and Raina Telgemeier, Kazu Kibuishi, Emily Carroll, and more.  While no story is longer than eighteen pages, the stories manage to portray strong characters who react in thoughtful ways to the mysteries presented them.
