The Flying Beaver Brothers and the Fishy Business

Beaver brothers Ace and Bub are about to have an adventure in this new graphic novel series.  After they realize a smoking volcano has appeared out of nowhere on their island, they begin to investigate some other “fishy” circumstances.  Using their glider to get around quickly, the flying beavers find mackerels running a suspicious new company that makes “fish stix” toys for kids, and their friend Bruce appears to be the new, highly paid Fish Stix mascot.   Silly banter and tongue-in-cheek responses between the beaver brothers, evil penguins Bob and Bob, and the conniving fish will have readers snickering from start to finish. This is actually the second title in the series, so I will have to go back and read #1, The Flying Beaver Brothers and the Evil Penguin Plan, which might explain the presence of Bob and Bob making pancakes using a spatula named Cynthia…or it might not.  If you like a quick LOL comic, this will be right up your alley.  Other humorous graphic novels to try are Lunch Lady, Sardine in Outer Space and Stone Rabbit.
