Aislinn’s name means “Dream,” and she has a lot of them. She has three dreams in particular this summer: for her father to stop drinking, for her family to buy a house, and for Mike Mancinello to like her. Her third dream has pretty good chances of coming true, but her first two will take more work.

Her father’s drinking has impacted her family in a lot of ways – his lower commissions at work mean her mom has to work more, and that means Aislinn is in charge of all her siblings. His drinking also means the money that was meant for their house is slipping away to pay for his addiction.

Aislinn isn’t one to let her dreams slip away, though. She comes up with the idea that everyone should wear their dreams on their sleeves. You never know when your neighbor, bus driver, or classmate can help your dreams come true – but only if they know what your dream is.
