Forest (Sounds of the Wild) by Maurice Pledger

 Spend some time with this new pop-up book on our novelty cart.  Pledger has captured the sights and authentic sounds of the woodland with beautiful illustrations.  Each pop-up scene includes animals, insects and birds from in the forest in different places and different seasons.  There are also interesting facts about each species.  This is a good book to pore over with your child so you can experience the wonder of the nature together.  Though this particular book can’t be checked out, the children’s library offers many other circulating books about woodland creatures.  You may be inspired to learn more about individual species in this fascinating ecosystem.  Visit our novelty cart collection to enjoy many other fascinating pop-up books.
