The Amazing Adventures of Bumblebee Boy

In this picture book featuring the boy from the popular “Ladybug Girl” books, Sam is busy fighting pirates, dragons and sabertooth tigers in his awesome Bumblebee Boy costume.  Little brother Owen keeps trying to get in on the action, but Sam has no time or patience for him. He redirects Owen’s attention by giving him other things to play with in other rooms, but Owen keeps trailing back.  Finally, it appears that Bumblebee Boy might not be able to escape evil aliens without some help. Who will come to the rescue? 

This is a great story to share with older brothers. It was especially fun at my house since little brother’s name is actually Owen. This is now a family favorite. David Soman’s Ladybug Girl books are also real treasures.
