This sequel to Kat, Incorrigible finds Kat Stephenson’s family in magical troubles again. This time, it is the manipulative, but oh-so stylish, Lady Fotherington behind the initial difficulties. For, Lady Fotherington seems to hold a grudge against the Stephensons in general and Kat in particular. However, when the Stephensons attempt to outrun a nasty rumor that could ruin any chance at a happy marriage for Kat’s sister Angeline, they quickly find themselves with yet more problems. For Angeline decides upon a foolish plan that risks not only her own reputation but also her true love, while Kat’s quick temper leads to a grave threat to her future as a Guardian.
Combining a delightful portrayal of Regency England and the excitement of a little wild magic, this tale is just as much fun as the first Kat novel.
