LJ lives and breathes soccer and she’s good. She just feels right on the field; she knows it is where she belongs. Lately, though, she’s been letting her skills go to her head a bit, and it isn’t helping her team. She’s also developed a pretty quick tempter, and that’s getting her into some serious trouble. After LJ blows a big play and costs her team the win, her coach benches her. LJ can’t believe it – not only is she benched for two games, but one of those games is the championship game! Her coach says she might learn something from the sidelines, but LJ can’t see what she could possibly learn from watching the other girls – she’s the star of the team after all.  Can LJ figure out that even the best player is still just one part of a team?

Don’t forget about our Spectacular Sports Party – Feb. 8 at 2:00. Suggested for grades K-6. We’ll have stories, games, and a movie.
