Award Lists
Find lists for various children’s book award winners, as well as teen and adult literature awards.
Novelist Plus
Search for children’s book reviews or recommendations. Look under the   “Kids” sections to find “Recommended Reads” on topics   such as adventure stories, biographies, historical fiction, animals, and   “If you liked…” lists.
DogEared
Kids blog about their favorite books on this site hosted by National   Geographic Kids.
Juvenile Series   and Sequels
Find a list of all titles in a series in the order they were published.   Mid-Continent Public Library (Missouri) keeps this webpage updated with 3,700   children’s book series.
KidsReads
Great place to find reviews of the newest titles, interviews with authors and   lists of great books.
Kansas Book   Connect – Accelerated Reader search
Look for great books and find out the Accelerated Reader (AR) level and   points. Search by reading level or by genre.
Scholastic Reading Counts
Search for titles in the Reading Counts program to find out reading level,   lexile level or point values.
Book Adventure
Book Adventure is a free reading motivation program for grades K-8. Children   can create their own book lists, take multiple choice quizzes on the books   they’ve read, and earn points and prizes. Book Adventure was created by and   is maintained by Sylvan Learning.

Search for titles available at the local schools. Limit by reading level   and/or reading program to see what titles are included in your school’s   Reading Counts or Accelerated Reader.
