• We Both Read series for kids learning to read

Do you have a new reader at your house? Try the fun beginning reader series “We Both Read.”  Fiction and nonfiction titles at various early reading levels are available.  Each chapter alternates between a child reader and adult reader.  The page for the child has less text with more sight words and words that can be sounded out.  New words are sometimes in bold with a glossary in the back.  The page for the adult has more complex sentence structure and challenging words.  This heightens the interest level for the budding new reader, who is certainly ready for more complex stories or facts, without adding to their frustration when learning to read.  I also love this series because it encourages a cooperative reading effort and creates a bonding time for the child and parent (or older sibling or grandparent – whoever has time to sit and read).
